The European Commission has announced that the European University Alliance for Global Health (EUGLOH) has secured continued funding under the European Universities Initiative (EUI) for the 2027–2028 extension period (ERASMUS-EDU-2026-EUR-UNIV).
As a proud member of the EUGLOH Alliance, Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München welcomes this positive outcome, which will enable the Alliance to continue strengthening collaboration in education, research, innovation, and service to society across Europe.
The new phase of the project, EUGLOH 2Plus, will focus on deepening institutional cooperation, developing a truly transnational European campus, and preparing future-ready professionals equipped to address global health challenges through interdisciplinary collaboration. It will also mark the official accession of the University of Amsterdam as EUGLOH's tenth member university.
Over the coming two years, LMU will continue to contribute to joint educational opportunities, research collaboration, staff development, mobility, and innovative initiatives that benefit our students, researchers, academics, and professional staff.
This new chapter reinforces our university's commitment to European cooperation and to working together with our EUGLOH partners to address global challenges through excellence in higher education, research, and innovation.
